Alex was raised in New York and has always had an innate love and empathy for animals. She was inspired by her chihuahuas, Dexter and Charlie, to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, as she wanted to play a key role in the healing of animals.
Prior to moving to Florida, Alex ran a successful Pet Care Service in NYC, Really Love Dogs, Inc., which included dog pack walking, dog training, and cat sitting. Alex loved her role as a pack leader, working with her team, and creating amazing relationships with pet owners. Alex also designs cruelty-free, punk rock apparel for dogs, and has her own Etsy shop as well.
In her free time, Alex loves to spend time with family, being outdoors with Little Jerry, her 7-year-old rescue chihuahua, working out and going to the beach.
Alex is super excited to be a part of the Mindful Veterinary Care team and has a passion for integrative medicine, alternative therapies, and nutrition.
